I value your instructions and would not wish to think that you have reason to be unhappy. I will always attempt to resolve any problems that may arise with the service I provide I would want to ensure that any concerns you raise are dealt with promptly and to your satisfaction.


I take all complaints very seriously. I regard a complaint as any communication wherein a client or an instructed professional has expressed their dissatisfaction with my level of service, quality of service, invoicing and/or pricing. I take all expressions of dissatisfaction very seriously. It is therefore important that you immediately raise any concerns that you may have with me.


If you have any concern with the level of my service, the level of fees, or the way in which I have dealt with any matter please contact me at law@amanda-vermeulen.co.uk and I willsend you details of my complaints procedure which sets out how I will investigate and deal with your complaint in order to reach an amicable and satisfactory solution.


If you are not satisfied with the outcome of my investigation into your complaint, you may refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman who deals with complaints against lawyers registered in England and Wales. You must lodge a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman within six months from the date you receive my final response to your complaint. Your complaint should also be made to the Legal Ombudsman within one year from the date of the act/omission about which you are concerned, or within one year from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority can help if you are concerned about my behaviour, or that I have not adhered to the SRA rules and regulations. This could be for things like dishonesty, stealing from you or losing your money, sexual misconduct, acts of violence or acts of discrimination against you.
